The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has officially blacklisted Indian pharmaceutical company Aveo Pharmaceuticals Pvt Limited for producing and distributing harmful, addictive pills capable of causing severe health complications, including death.
In a statement issued on [date], NAFDAC warned the public against consuming any medications manufactured by the blacklisted company, citing laboratory tests and investigative reports that confirmed the drugs’ high potential for addiction and fatal consequences.
The agency emphasized its commitment to protecting public health and ensuring that only safe and effective medicines are available in the Nigerian market.

NAFDAC has urged healthcare professionals and the general public to report any suspicious medications to its nearest office or through its official channels. The agency reaffirmed its dedication to strengthening regulatory oversight to prevent similar incidents in the future.
