Lagos: PMAN Elects New Executives To Lead Entertainment Association

 

The Performing Musicians Employers’ Association of Nigeria (PMAN) Lagos State Chapter has elected new executives to steer the affairs of the union in the state.

The election, held on March 6, 2025, saw Comrade Alhaji Fatai Tijani emerge as the newly elected Governor of PMAN Lagos.

Other elected officials include:

Prince Adewale Idowu – Deputy Governor 1

Evangelist Psalmist Israel Adekunle – Deputy Governor 2

Prince Ambassador Babatunde Anthony (Lagos Son) – Public Relations Officer (P.R.O.)

Comrade Ewetade Monsuru – Union Secretary

Alongside them, four other comrades were also elected to leadership positions.

Former PMAN Lagos Governor Applauds Election Process

The immediate past Governor of PMAN Lagos, Chief Kareem Olomide Osoba, who is also the Baale of Sabo, Yaba, expressed his joy and optimism about the new leadership.

“The Union, which is the only mouthpiece of the people in the entertainment industry, must move forward. I encourage everyone to support this leadership as they are the best candidates after a very amazing election,” he said.

The election took place at 81, Awolowo Way, Ikeja, Side Walk Lounge and Bar, near Zenith Bank Awolowo, with representatives from all segments under PMAN, including AJUMN, GOMAN, REGMAN, ISMAN, FUMAN, SEMAN, and 13 zones from different Local Government Areas (LGAs) in Lagos.

Official Inauguration Date to Be Announced

According to the Public Relations Officer, Ambassador Babatunde Ibrahim Anthony, also known as Lagos Son (Garment), the official inauguration date for the new executives will be announced in the coming days.
