Asiwaju Dr Solomon Onafowokan OON,  has made a Clarion call to all business owners and Nigerian Entrepreneurs to have an effective and solid succession plans for their businesses to outlived them. He asserted the fundamental bases for business successes after the owner is to ensure good hands to keep and maintain it is key. " He said, investments is not "sentimental" as first primary consideration for investments decision globally is to go to where "returns is guaranteed but not taken for granted.

 Asiwaju Onafowokan made the call at the recently held J9C annual lecture with the theme: "Business and Policy Strategy" "Examining the roles of Reforms in enhancing the ease of doing business in Nigeria"

J9C January 9th Collective as a young Professional Nigierians who come together in a discourse with season econmoic and professionals to analyse and proffer desired solutions to the nations economic and prevalent challenges.

 
The Industrialist and Frontline businessman, Chairman of Coleman Wires and Cable industries,Former Lagos Chambers of Commerce and Industry and Hon. Life-Vice President of NACCIMA further enjoins business owners to encourage their children to be part of the institution they established so as to sustain the growth and continue existence of such institutions at retirement or beyond them.
Speaking further, Dr Onafowokan charges parents to exhibit trust in the children ability to excel. He stated, " I have implicit confidence that, If these children are given opportunity and encouragement,they will transform Vision into Fruition faster than we all can imagine "

In his wealth of experience,he added that while children and wards are encouraged to run parents businesses, that it's the surest way of ensuring perpetuity of organisation aside from creating rapid economic progress that will emanate there-from that is inclusive, sustainable and progressive, a move which would serve as aid to wealth and job creations that will transcends the founding fathers. In such a preparation,any businessman and woman is driving towards successful succession both in lifetime and beyond.
