The Ogun State Chapter of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) hosted the Grand Finale and Award Night of its 2024 Press Week at the Muhammadu Buhari Auditorium, Federal Medical Centre, Abeokuta.
The event, chaired by His Majesty, Oba (Prof.) Abdul Kabir Adeyemi Obalanlege, the Olota of Ottaland, was a remarkable celebration of journalism and served as a unique reunion for Kabiyesi. His Majesty had the privilege of reconnecting with distinguished colleagues in the Fourth Estate of the Realm and engaging with students of Mass Communication.
The ceremony was graced by several dignitaries, including the Deputy Governor of Ogun State, Her Excellency Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele, FNSE; the Ogun State Head of Service, Mr. Babatunde Kolawole; the State Commander of Amotekun Corps, Brig. General Alade Adedigba; the National Vice President of NUJ, Abimbola Oyetunde; and other notable personalities.
Congratulations to the Ogun State Chapter of the NUJ, under the able leadership of Comrade Wale Olanrewaju, for successfully hosting the 2024 edition of the NUJ Press Week.
