Grassroot Mobilizer, Taiwo Oyekan Presents N1.35Million Financial Aid To Displaced BusinessWomen, Artisans In Lagos



 As his ways in handling his local members peculiarities,he has always become a beacon of hope to the needies.

In another renewed Economic Intervention effort, Hon. Taiwo Oyekan, A High-ranking Lagos Council Legislator has presented One Million, Three Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira (N1,350,000) to displaced Businesswomen and Artisans whose Shops were affected by the Urban Regeneration Exercise of the Lagos State Government.

The Beneficiaries received Fifty Thousand Naira (N50,000) each. A Total of Twenty-Seven(27) Business Owners benefitted.


The Presentation Of Cash Gifts took place in Ojuworo Community, Isale-Eko, Lagos Island Local Government Area, Lagos.


While addressing the Entrepreneurs, Hon. Oyekan said the Financial lifeline became necessary to alleviate the resultant effect of the unfortunate incident and reignite their Businesses.

"This intervention will promote local economy and improve the Victims' Standard of Living", He stated.

On his part, A Community Leader and Ward C1 Chairman, Alh. Shina Agara Onilegbale lauded Hon. Oyekan's continuous socioeconomic supports for residents across Lagos Island Local Government Area.

He described him as the Best Performing Councillor ever elected in Lagos.

A Beneficiary, Mrs. Faidat Erinfolami expressed gratitude to Hon. Oyekan for the Financial support.

Alhaja Ajoke Sanni said: "The Cash Gift is a surprise gesture to me. I did not expect it. I Pray that the Almighty God will contribute to bless you, grant you all your heart desires and take you to higher political position", (Amen).
