Lawal expressed his gratitude to the team for their commitment to the project, which is aimed at reducing malaria prevalence and improving public health in Ado-Odo/Ota
Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Chairman, Hon. Lawal Adewale Wasiu FCA, hosted the OGUN 2024 ITN MASS CAMPAIGN team in his office today as they provided a comprehensive debrief on the recently concluded campaign in the Local Government area.
Led by Mrs. Temitope Baolu, the campaign team briefed the Chairman on the two-week program aimed at improving the health and welfare of residents through the distribution of Insecticide-Treated Nets (ITNs). The initiative was executed in two distinct phases: the Household Mobilization phase and the Distribution phase.
During the Household Mobilization phase, households across the Local Government were educated on the importance of ITNs in preventing malaria and ensuring better community health. This was followed by the Distribution phase, during which the nets were handed out to registered households within the Local Government.
The campaign and distribution team was made up of various personnel, including Ward Supervisors, Town Announcers, Household Mobilizers, Conveyors, and the Distribution Point Team, who worked tirelessly to ensure the program’s success.
