It was all sounds of youthful usefulness when the young and vibrant Agodi-Ketu Local Council development Area Chairman, Hon. Oladele Oshinowo said leading his people has never been seen as a rocket science in the way some perceived leadership qualities are hard to come by.
He made the statement at the instance of his National Award recognition as Man of the Year on Grassroot governance by the National Association of Online Security News Publishers (NAOSNP) at Oriental hotel recently. Recall NAOSNP is a National Security association who left nothing untouched when security coverage and activities are concerned in Nigeria and beyond, the year 2024 Award event has brought dignitaries from all walks of life to security stakeholders discourse to profer likely solutions to Nigerian issues.
The chairman of the second rated best performances LCDA on a chat carried out recently, said Its a matter of focusing on what exactly you aimed at before you emerged a leaders. With the resources at our disposal, we have achieved so many development towards alleviating community sufferings, we have done much in education,health facilities,Road construction,Youth empowerments, Security enforcement, housing and others areas in our LCDA.
I have lived overseas and knows how systems works over there, I therefore make up my mind I would do well in leadership,so it's not really difficult as perceived.
While speaking,he reiterated his administration stand to ensure good legacy is left in the office, according to him, 'there is nothing impossible to do,all you need is to be resolute to achieve greatness' , in our leadership trajectories, we sought for professionals input in any areas we wish to work and go headlong to get the job done.
While asked how confident he was to embarked on housing projects, he remarked, We seized the landmass opportunity we have to build housing projects that would enhance viability of our LCDA,minding the fact that land space is a big issues in lagos having been surrounded by the lagoon, we maximize the opportunity we have to get housing project done in our Local council development Area in Agoyi Ketu.
There is solutions to all is going on in Nigeria, we have started in own little way and we have not reach the finishing line of good administration, we will still do and achieve more for the benefit of my community.
There are several other Lagos LCDA that are doing great work like Health care facilities, Standard market space,Road construction,Youth empowerment, New and Modern school facilities just to mention a few, however the job must continues, we will do ours while others coming after us would have to build on greater efforts all in ensuring our communities are in good shape for betterment and dividends of democracy to our people.He concluded.
