The convention which witnessed an amazing surge of millions of believers both physically present at the prayer city and online recorded an unimaginable number of testimonies ranging from undeniable deliverances, healing, salvation, and breakthroughs.
A testifier who was blind admitted that she got healed as her eyes popped open.
More interesting is the number of barren women in their 50s who have been barren for over a decade came back with a bundle of joy from children born during the last convention.
Also, the anniversary cum convention was a record breaker as close to 500 students who are members of MFM across the globe graduated with first class from their different higher institutions of learning and were recipients of Dr Olukoya’s award.
Arguably, this is the single largest gathering of first-class graduates by any ministry worldwide.
Worshippers were soaked in a blissful atmosphere of joy at the anniversary as well as the church convention where they witnessed activities such as award ceremonies, lectures, and music concerts.
The Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries is an international church with branches in the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, the rest of Europe, the Caribbean, and Asia.
According to the General Overseer, the anniversary will undoubtedly have significant positive impacts on the nation due to the offering of prayers, including many intercessory prayers.
The church which had positively impacted lives all over the world through its salvation messages, deliverance prayers, yoke breaking programmes had also empowered lives through its several Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR) such as scholarships programmes, food gifting, men, women, and Youth empowerment.
Dr Olukoya, the General Overseer of MFM worldwide received the vision for the church from God 35 years ago and today the whole world is a witness to numerous manifestations of God’s power over the past three decades.
The MFM began in 1989 with a prayer meeting of 24 people held in Dr. Olukoya’s living room while he was working at the Nigerian Institute of Medical Research in Yaba.
From that small beginning, the prayer meetings attracted many members until they moved to 60, Old Yaba Road where the teeming crowd of believers grew in even more amazing proportion which necessitated yet another relocation.
This was when the prayer group was offered and purchased an abandoned slum located at 13, Olasimbo Street, Onike, Yaba.
