In a significant ceremony, the Olota of Otta, Oba Professor Adeyemi Obalanlege, has appointed Chief (Mrs) Toibat Aderonke Bello as the new Iyaloja of Sango-Otta, Aworiland. Additionally, Chief (Mrs) Sadiat Omowunmi Oludegun has been installed as the Otun Iyaloja of the same market area.
His Majesty urged the newly installed leaders to collaborate closely with other market stakeholders for the development of the market. He expressed his hopes for their success in their new roles and emphasized their duty to serve the interests of the traders and the community.
The vacuum arose following the passing of the late Iyaloja of Sango-Otta, Alhaja Mujidat Oludegun, who passed away on January 13, 2024.
