Modupe Michael Finally ‘Ties The Knot’ With Hearthrob, Opeyemi Ayeni

  By ‘MAYOWA AYENI
It was a day of immense joy for entire family of Mr/Mrs Michael and Mr/ Mrs Ayeni as their daughter, Miss Modupe Oluwatosin and Master Opeyemi Oluwatoyin, finally fulfilled their dream of becoming husband and wife.
Mr Michael ushered in his daughter in company of the best man, best lady to hand over her to her hearthrob, Opeyemi at Local Government Marriage Registry in Ado Ekiti on Saturday, July 27, 2024 where both said “I do’ to the marriage oath.
Opeyemi was joined by many of his high-profile friends, associates and family members at the Wedding Ceremony, which won’t be forgotten in a hurry by those who attended.
The couple in joyous mood danced to the registry with the bride in her white wedding gown and groom in black trouser with white shirt, amidst songs of praises.

Again, the couple in their purple and gold dresses in smiles danced to a well decorated Civil Cooperative Hall, Beside NNPC, with the matching materials of the couple’s preferred dressings to perfect their marriage traditional rites.
Indeed, the array of guests at the event was a testament to the goodwill and respect both the bride and groom parents enjoys in different sectors. Many who could not attend sent well-wishes to the elated couple as they began their matrimonial journey.
It was apparent that no expense was spared in organising the event, as guests were treated to choice foods and drinks.
At the event, the youths were urged to build strong relationships before going into marriage.

Speaking, a journalist, who doubled as the groom’s father, Mr Olalekan Ayeni, while rejoicing with couple, decried high rate at which marriages crash these days, saying the cause was not far from lack of prayer, tolerance and pride on the part of the couples.
He advised the couple to establish good communication among themselves, chatting, playing, praying together and abstaining from turning themselves to punching bags.
Reeling off some of the rudiments for successful marriage, Ayeni said: “Prayer, tolerance, adequate respect, total submission, support and humility are crucial.”
“Both of you should always have the spirit of forgiveness, faithfulness, subject to each other’s ideas, abstain from allowing third party’s intervention into their marriage, learn how to say sorry to each other and always have sexual intercourse,” Mr Ayeni, concluded.
Modupe gazed into Oyekunle’s eyes wondering how shiny her soul mate was. The couple promised to ensure that the union succeeds.
