Renewed Hope: Coalition of Progressive Groups Applaud Tinubu for Supporting the Choice of Nyesom Wike as FCT Minister and His Achievements in Infrastructure

**Groups Applaud President Tinubu’s Choice of Nyesom Wike as FCT Minister

The Coalition of Progressive Groups commends President Bola Tinubu for supporting Nyesom Wike and providing him with the necessary financial backing to achieve significant progress in the FCT, especially in road infrastructure. Mr. President is commissioning several roads recently in Abuja.

The Coalition of Progressive Groups congratulates President Bola Tinubu and Wike on one year in office for transforming the face of the Federal Capital Territory, making it one of the best state capitals in Africa.

Cheers and applause go out to the significant work done by the Federal Capital Territory Minister, His Excellency Nyesom Wike, for his magnificent reconstructions and rehabilitation of roads and projects as part of the Abuja mega city planning.

A concerned group, whose interest is to monitor and praise the unflinching support and confidence reposed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration in the former governor of Rivers State, emphasizes that it takes the willpower and political resolve of Mr. President to give such support to a man whose detractors had advised against his appointment. The attacks came from different angles, with one argument being that Wike is from the opposition People’s Democratic Party, while another doubted his trustworthiness to carry out such giant strides in the FCT.

Recall that Minister of FCT, Nyesom Wike, recently in his ingenuity, advised Mr. President to name many completed roads after some great Nigerian nationalities irrespective of tribe, region, and tongue. He mentioned roads being named after literary gurus like JP Clark, Prof. Wole Soyinka, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Chinua Achebe, and others, as they deserve such an honor for having contributed immensely to placing Nigerian intellectual capacity on the world map.

The President and Commander-in-Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu, with his listening ears, team spirit, and political sagacity, has earned the most coveted political office in the country. He breaks all odds to shame the detractors while facilitating every need required to bring the long-awaited Abuja mega city agenda to fruition by providing Minister Wike with the necessary funds to complete and continue fulfilling parts of the 8-point agenda of Mr. President’s campaign manifesto.

While other projects are on the way to completion, the workaholic Minister, known as Mr. Project during his governorship, continues to enjoy undying support from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, having proven his capabilities to deliver on time and meet targets to fulfill President Tinubu’s mandate.

The leadership prowess with which Mr. President stands tall also earned him the capacity to choose the right people for the right roles in his government. Nigerians within and in the diaspora can also testify to the impressive work of other ministers, like Minister Tunjo Ojo in the Interior Ministry. Ojo’s leadership has further displayed the President’s prudence in human management by turning the tides in passport administration in Nigeria and overseas.

Minister Alake at the Ministry of Mining and Umahi, Minister of Works, have also made giant strides in fulfilling Mr. President’s mandate.

While other ministers surrounding Mr. President in his government are action-worthy, Nigerians are encouraged not to focus on his activities to fix the nation, which includes shaking things up, but to render their unalloyed support to his government to fix the economy and place the country on the pedestal of unity and progress in the community of nations again.
