Barely any unforseen circumstances, the annual Delegates Conference of the Association of EX-Local Government Chairmen of Nigeria (ASELGON) comes up on Friday, June 7, 2024 at Women Development Centre, opposite CBN, Abuja by 11.00am.
The conference will afford the Delegates to review the past activities of the Association and also chart a new course.
According to the Press release issued by the National President of the Association, Hon Albert Asipa, the association was formed as a platform to contribute its own quota to the political renaissance of our great country, Nigeria, based on members privileges of huge grassroots knowledge, connections and interactions.
All Former elected local government Chairmen at the National Assembly, State Houses of Assembly, Commissioners are expected to grace the occasion.
The Honourable Minister of Federal Capital Territory, His Excellency, Barr. Nyeson Wike and the Minister of State for Environment, Dr. Iziaq Kunle Salako will be on seat as the Special Guests of Honour while the Senator representing Ogun East Senatorial District and former Governor, Senator Gbenga Daniel is the Chairman of Occasion.
The association is an umbrella body of all former elected local government Chairmen of Nigeria.
