Lagos, Nigeria – 22nd of May 2024- Renowned scholar and Professor of Business Ethics, Juan Manuel Elegido, is set to unveil his latest masterpiece, "Fundamentals of Business Ethics: A Developing Country Perspective (Second Edition)," at an exclusive Panel Discussion event hosted by Pan-Atlantic University Press.
Professor Juan Manuel Elegido, born in Madrid, Spain, in 1952, has been an expert in the field of business ethics. As one of the founding staff members of Lagos Business School in 1991 and former Dean of the School from 2005 to 2009, Professor Elegido's contributions to academia and the corporate world are unparalleled. With six books to his credit and numerous articles published in prestigious academic and professional journals, Professor Elegido has established himself as a leading authority in the field of business ethics. He has been consistently recognised as one of the top 10% most highly cited scholars worldwide in the Social Science Research Network.
The unveiling of "Fundamentals of Business Ethics: A Developing Country Perspective (Second Edition)" will take place on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at the IMRC Auditorium, Lagos Business School, starting at 10 am WAT. This event promises to be an enlightening experience, featuring a distinguished panel of experts who will engage in a thought-provoking discussion on the importance of business ethics in today's evolving landscape.

About the Author
Juan Elegido was born in Madrid, Spain, and has lived in Nigeria since 1977. He has a licentiate degree in law from the Universidad Central de Madrid, Spain and a doctorate in law from the Universidad de Navarra, also in Spain. He worked as a business consultant in his home country and taught jurisprudence and tax law in Nigeria before becoming one of the founding staff of Lagos Business School in 1991. He has served as Director of Programmes and Dean of LBS and is a Professor of Business Ethics and a former Vice Chancellor of Pan-Atlantic University.
He has been an active participant in the Nigerian Economic Summit meetings since their inception and was the chairman of the Human Capital and Quality of Life Workgroup in Summit No. 9. He was also a resource person to the Vision 2010 Committee and serves as director or chairman in several organisations.
