OgunWest2027: Hon.Jimoh Ojugbele, Deputy Gov Salako, Hon Tunji Akinosi All Jostles For Hon Waliu Taiwo's Senatorial Aspirations

...To Battle Hon Waliu Taiwo For 2027 Senate Seat

The battle of who will eventually be the winner of the Ogun West Senatorial ticket in the coming 2027 general elections is gathering momentum as many political heavy weights have shown interest to take up the job from where Senator Solomon Olalekan Adeola ( Yayi) is about to leave it for a higher job.

The person who has been preparing for the Ogun West Senatorial ticket in the state is Hon Waliu Olayiwola Taiwo, a former House of Assembly member and top politician in Ogun West district and currently the Chairman of House of Assembly Service Commission in Ogun State.

As things stand now, there are about four top political heavy weights ready to slug it out with the Chairman of Assembly Commission in the state for the office.

The first political juggernaut, we heard is Alhaja Noimot Salako-Oyedele, the outgoing Deputy Governor in the state.
Alhaja Noimot Salako-Oyedele is a woman who has been working tirelessly for the success of her boss, Prince Dapo Abiodun, whose success in Ogun State is said to be phenomenal.

The second person is former House of Representatives member who is loved by thousands of his followers because of his open-hand nature and love for his people, Hon Jimoh Ojugbele hails from Igbesa in Ado-Ota Local Government.

The third is the incumbent lawmaker who took over from Hon. Ojugbele, Hon Tunji Akinosi, also from Igbesa ward. Hon Akinosi is well known politician whose bravery is well known and very committed to his works in the House of Representatives.

Interestingly, the three contenders are from Ado-Ota Local Government of Ogun West which is one of the five governments that make up Ogun West Senatorial District.

The local government has the most of voters in Ogun West, which is also the most industrialized local government and it boarders Lagos State, the commercial nerve of Lagos, which makes it very important to the people and government.

All the contestants are said to one way or the other, very close to Hon Waliu Taiwo whom they all hold in high esteem, except the Deputy Governor who never had political relationship with Hon Taiwo until she came to deputize Dapo Abiodun.
