Dabiri-Erewa, Falana, Others Raise Funds To Tackle Out-Of-School Children Menace In Lagos

Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman/CEO, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) joined other stakeholders at the Charity Ball and Fund raising of IA Foundation held at the Lagos Civic Centre.

The event was organised as a means of raising funds towards getting out-of-school children back to school.

Dabiri-Erewa as Special Guest of Honour commended Mrs. Ibironke Adeagbo, the CEO, IA Foundation, for the laudable initiative of complementing Government efforts in addressing the problem.

She implored other Nigeria Diasporans to emulate the initiative by giving back to the country and making a difference in the lives of the people.

Earlier, Mrs. Adeagbo, the CEO, IA Foundation, solicited for support as she believed that the children are the future of the country.

She also stated that returning them to school would alleviate poverty, reduce insecurity and result in enhanced skills which could be used to power the economy.
In attendance at the occasion include Human Rights Lawyer, Chief Femi Falana, (SAN) and other dignitaries attended the event.
