Sequence to the ongoing clamours and ranglings in the spirits and drinks sectors premised on NAFDAC Ban on Pets and Sachets manufacturing in the country.
Workers under the aegies of Associations under distilleries unions
and entire workforce today continues protests around Ota town where
majority of their factories are located in Ogun State.

of Ota. He admonishes and share with the crowd his emotions on the ban
issues.
In taking a forensic look to the ban,the befefits of the productions outweighs the NAFDAC's points for the ban in the economy.
Added the government should really consider the options
of several benefits accruable to the manufacturing of the drinks to the
economic stand of the nation.
In his words,Olota cited
foreign exchange earnings which forms integral parts of our national
development trade balances to other countries.
" From my
understanding,these Sachets and pets productions are generally meant for
exporting to other west African and European countries, a trade which
earns foreign exchange to the country" he told of immense positive
contributions towards employment the organisations generated to the
country.
As a leader of Ota Kingdom, I would ensure the leadership of the government are informed on this stands and see to the attention the issues needed.He said.
