The high level of rampant and incessant
kidnapping of innocent people in Imo State has been directly linked to the atrocious activities of all the Hausa-Fulani herdsmen operating in the state.Their exposure followed the recent breakthroughs by the security agencies (Police) led by the Commissioner Of Police, CP Aboki Danjuma, with his tactical team who acted on a tip off as they stormed a certain forest connecting the people of Ihiagwa/Avu Communities in Owerri-West LGA of the state in the recent time.

ThePressman gathered that as at the time when the Police visited the forest, their criminal hide out was destroyed, dead bodies were discovered and autopsy on the deceased found at the forest is now ongoing.

At the Ihiagwa/Avu forest operation, the Policemen arrested 5 Fulani young men, all from Jigawa State, who were suspected to be kidnappers are now cooling at the custody of the Imo State Police Command in Owerri.

But just in lessthan 7 days after the Police might have recorded huge success by dislodging them (kidnappers) from the forests, news had it that a very long trailer which loaded over 500 youths from the Northern States of Nigeria each of them bearing demonic possessed dogs on the hands with chains and other dangerous weapons.

Eyewitnesses confirmed their arrival as they all alighted at the popular Hospital Road Junction along Owerri/Portharcourt Road in Owerri.

Millions of Imolites at the moment are now raising alarm concerning the ugly trends by the Fulani herders who have now turned to be kidnappers and killers of innocent people unable to pay ransom upon their abduction.

Meanwhile, ThePressman reports as it was revealed that some of the Fulani herders who are now suspected to be kidnappers while on their enroute into Mbaise nation of Imo State were intelligently intercepted by the local vigilantee groups who disarmed them of their dogs and other dangerous weapons.

It was gathered that the Vigilantee Groups have handed them over to the police for further investigation to establish their reason of coming to Imo State with dangerous dogs in large numbers.
