BREAKING! BANNED ALCOHOLIC DRINKS WORKERS TAKES PROTEST TO NAFDAC LAGOS OFFICE

By Daniel Olushola Michael

The hungers and angers in the land couples with the economic realities that keeps burning harder and harder on daily basis had prompted the workers and manufacturers of banned alcoholic drinks in Pets and Sachets below 200ml in Nigeria to protest in Lagos NAFDAC Isolo office today 20th February 2024.

Recall globalreport had reported earlier reactions of series of protests weeks ago to Ota town and later to Ogun state assembly complex at where the honorable speaker Oludaisi Elemide addressed them on concerns and actions to be taken in support of the battles. At Abeokuta, hon Elemide also promised to advanced the discussions with Mr governor Dapo Abiodun MFR for better and solid collaborative efforts that can profer a considerable solutions as such ban would only earn the nation and society more social vices, that unemployment would help trigger if not nip at the bud on time.

The protesting workers today were seen raising fearful prayer points against the NAFDAC leadership of Professor Christianah Adeyeye, accusing her of compromise against the Alcoholic drinks manufacturers to favour Beer producers in Nigeria. Wishing fire of God to burn down proceeds of such financial gains in their purses.

Though the gate of NAFDAC office remain shut against the protesters as at press time,no iota of violence was recorded as the workers conducts themselves appropriately to display numerous placards as usual with divergents of inscriptions blaming the action on ineptitude of the NAFDAC bereft of ideas to regulate the sector rather than outright complete ban of the production and distributions in Nigerian market.
