Nollywood star Ken Erics unleashed a wave of excitement among fans and colleagues by dropping a video of his visit to senior colleague, John Okafor aka, Mr. Ibu, seemingly in the wake of the veteran actor’s recovery from a hospital stint.
In recent months, Mr. Ibu has been enduring a period of being bedridden in the hospital, undergoing the amputation of one of his legs amidst a continuous and tumultuous rift between his wife, Stella Maris Okafor, and adopted daughter, Jasmine over the funds donated for his recovery.
Amidst the uncertainty surrounding whether Mr. Ibu has fully recuperated, Ken Erics shared a clip on his Instagram page on Sunday, January 21, of his visit to Mr. Ibu’s home. The veteran actor was seen extending a warm welcome.
In his post’s caption, Ken hinted that the visit took place after the hospital ordeal, reiterating that he shared the video to bring a ray of sunshine to the day for his colleagues and fans.
Other Nollywood stars, including Georgina Ibeh and Ibiwari Etuk, flooded the comment section with expressions of joy over Mr. Ibu’s recovery.
Ibiwari Etuk emphatically stated that Mr. Ibu, after a prolonged period in the hospital, is now back home, hale and hearty.
This is coming months after Mr Ibu reacted to claims of sleeping with his adopted daughter, Jasmine.
News recently made the rounds that the movie star only stopped sleeping with Jasmine after he found her with his son. This was revealed in a leaked audio message that trended online.
Another audio of the veteran actor’s purported conversation with Jasmine has leaked on social media.
In the voicenote, Jasmine was heard questioning Mr Ibu about the rumours they were sleeping together. The actor then responded by shutting down the claims.
