Reference to the publication from Thisday newspapers management published on 17th January 2024, the said publication indicating our Karmo district market in Abuja was on fire. The said misinformation was published where Karmo district market picture was used to represent the scene of the inferno.
The incidence since the publication had degenerated to untold anxieties and panic among our numerous customers and business partners alike querying authencity of the information.
The management of Karmo district thereby debunked and condemned in totality the said publication, we stated unequivocally that Karmo district market is a different entity from incidented Karmo market,and that the fire incidence happened at Karmo market and not Karmo district market.
 The general public is hereby advised to disregard and considered the publication and the picture as pure misinformation. In addition, we avowed and prioritize as always adequate security facilities to keep life and properties safe in our market environment.
