While the generous moneybag celebrated his 60th birthday last year; many thought he was going to roll the carpets and call praise singers who would paint the streets of London, Lagos, Paris or Dubai red but the cosmopolitan but calculative business opted for a private celebration where he was posting goodwill messages recorded by friends on his social media and also thanking his creator for making him reach age 60 in good health amidst wealth. Today, he is not only living his dreams he is also fulfilling his destiny as a man who has been commissioned for greatness. Over the week, the philanthropist celebrated his 61st birthday but he chose to keep it on a low profile. Instead of throwing a mega soiree like many of his peers would have done he intentionally used the funds to impact the lives of many children who are leaders of tomorrow in other to cushion the effect of the biting economy. When he was decorated as the Chancellor of St. Augustine University, Epe, Otedola gave One million each to 750 students as a sign of his commitment to education and also as his contribution to philanthropy.
