The Otta-Awori revered ruler,HRM Oba Abdulkabir Adeyemi Obalanlege, EKun ||, The Olota of Otta kingdom in Ogun state,had promised during a press conference and canvasses for a better celebration in forthcoming Odun Omo Iganmode festival.
The event which is scheduled for 11th-17th December 2023 under the chairmanship of Chief Temitayo Idowu,the Otun Bobagunwa of Otta Awori Kingdom promised to bring a bang and new innovations to the year's epoch making festival.
In his word,Oba Lanlege EKun ||, reflects on the cradleness of the ancient town that has evolved in modern development hitherto. Cited how the town is a host to diverse kinds of settings of both commercial, Industrial and educational institutions like the Covenant university which without doubt had clinched the best private University in Nigeria and second best in Africa, a feat according to him represent the accommodative natures of the ancient town of all Awori source nationwide and diasporas.

Olota commends and appreciated the Ogun state governor,Prince Dapo Abiodun for acknowledging the Iganmode festival as one of the gateway renown festivals in the state,stated with that spirit,all Awori sons and daughters globally would ensure year 2023 event will surely make a new mark in organisation and success,he promised.
Recall that,the turns of recognitions and glamours the ascension of his father's throne, HRM Oba Abdulkabir Adeyemi Obalanlege EKun||,had since showered encomiums and unusual international recognition which further amplifies the popularity of Iganmode day festival among other recognized festivals in the state and nation at large hitherto. It has become such that brought all indegenious and residents together fostering cohesions and promoting cultural heritage among citizens and visitors alike in the gateway State.
The event organising chairman, Chief Temitayo Idowu,the Otun Bobagunwa of Otta Awori Kingdom,added the festival being the 31st from inception would be a huge success with the theme; Ottaland,the Cradle of Awori Civilization in education, commerce and all ramifications. Chief Idowu also mentioned the unflinching support and mediums from numerous sponsors and indegenous diasporas contributions during previous festivals,he stated the festival harmonies all children of the Aworis nationwide and disasporas, also enumerated how the festival has promotes Awori cultural exhibitions and exquisite traditions while appeasing ancestral supports for continuos growth,guidance, development, stability,peace and tranquility. Chief Bobagunwa also thanks Governor Dapo Abiodun for approval of the festival enlistment to Ogun state festival calendar, in his word,had given a boost in the tourist sector among others, said the 2023 organization and his team contributions would without doubt deliver commendable success to all and sundry.
The festival as usual,which promised divergent showcases of cultural activities and events for a whole week would start from 11th to 17th with promises of rebounding results to sponsors and tourism handlers for economic and commercial impacts in the state.
