I went to get my bachelor’s degree from my former university 3 years after graduating. I decided to do so because my mum kept yelling about it. So after collecting it, I gifted it to my mum. Because I hardly need It. Up until now, I haven’t Collected my Grade 12 Certification spite having gotten 8 points.

I think most people go to university with the sole purpose of getting a degree, which is a total miss conception, we go to school to gain knowledge, be educated and apply that knowledge.

My heart bleeds when I see a computer engineer failing to develop software applications, I can’t comprehend when I see an MBA graduate who can’t run business tests shocking when I see an accounting graduate hallowing in poverty, when yet all he has to do, is talk to small business owners and start doing there books at a fee. If each small business pays you #500 to do there accounting books per month and you have
100 Clients. That’s revenue of #50,000 per month.

My heart bleeds when I see a mechanical engineer hallowing in poverty when all he has to do is make Facebook add that he fixes cars. Most degree holders hallow in poverty Because they went to university to get a degree instead of getting an education.

Personally, I apply the knowledge earned in university in my daily life. I apply the demand and supply function In my business. I know when to farm, buy stocks, bonds and when the market will crush. I use the marketing concepts I learnt.

I apply the game theory when handling Competition. In spite not being one of the best-graduating students. Sometimes, I feel like I was the best Student at university. Because I don’t need the degree, all I needed was the information and knowledge and used that to succeed. I am actually happy that I am educated. Not because I have a degree but because I am equipped with competitive Information and knowledge.

In summary, go to school, get educated use that knowledge and apply it with or without a job. Pursue knowledge not a degree.

You don’t need a degree to make money; you need information and knowledge.
