An architect and politician, Uche Rochas, has revealed the reason the Abia State governor, Alex Otti, ignored the former governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, and chose the former governor of Lagos and minister, Babatunde Fashola, to lecture his government on leadership.
Recall that Abia State recently organised a retreat for the state’s executive council members where Fashola was invited as the lead speaker, while Obi was attending a wedding party in Kano organized by a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

It is worth noting that Obi was a former presidential candidate of the Labour Party, the same party as Otti, while Fashola is an APC chieftain.
In his opinion, Rochas believed that the governor’s choice was because the former Lagos governor was best suited to talk about governance than the former LP presidential candidate.
“Alex Otti invited Fashola to lecture ABSG on governance and not Peter Obi, isn’t it ironic? You people haven’t said why you are in love with a man who put his state funds into his private business… if only he was a politician in China, everybody would tell him.
“At the end of the day, you can’t give what you don’t have. Obi has radicalized young Nigerians, yet his time in office was a complete failure,” he wrote.
