It was all fun and fanfare yesterday 29th and today Sunday 30th as the Guaranty Trust Holdings Company  (GTCO) kickstarted the earlier publicised annual food and drinks festival.

 Though the programme was organised annually as a means of giving back to the society,the first day's crowd as witnessed by Globalreport news medium and other pressmen at the event awes all, surprisingly, it became a real festival of love,business connections in the culinary sector globally as international chefs and drinks brands were present to offer their services, to the mammothan crowd that graced the festival.

Many families took time out with their children and wards to use the medium have a wonderful memorable moments of funfare with friends and loved ones at the gathering.

The global and award winning Chefs invited to tutor the attendees at masterclass sessions did justice to take everyone through the world's variants of continental dishes with mouth watering menus and condiments good enough for adoption into our African dishes.
 
The event which was scheduled to last Three days starting from Saturday 29th April to end 1st May is programmed to witness untold experiences of African culinaries at display, our local dish menus ranging from Akara,Ofada-rice, roasted plantain, roasted-corn etc were all out to satisfy both visitor's domestic and international taste buds.

Fielding questions from some of the International chefs at the event, Jutamas Theantae, with nick of 'Som' meaning 'Orange' from Thailand while explaining out her unique Thai- spices culinary approaches to meals confesses she had great experiences tasting Nigerian meals with promise to adopt likes of Afang-soup, Jollof-rice and other locals to her menus back home.

Natasha Butler, the chef from New Orleans USA, cooked  'Origin of Okra gumbo' with salivating scents of diverse collaborators of quantifying ingredients with Okra, chicken and Crabs, a condiments that described appreciations of nature in meals as masterclass attendees almost lost counts of soup ingredients she prepares her Okra-Gumbo with.
