Having celebrated the annual event colourfully for solid five years consistently aside Covid-19 interruptions, GTCO poised with the initiatives of a responsible financial institution which bothers not only facilitating business gains but such that creates avenues to give back to the community and Nations of operations.
 
In 2023 food and drinks show, Guaranty Trust Holding Company (GTCO) had set to hold the 6th edition of the event starting tomorrow Saturday, 29th of April to Monday, May 1st, 2023.

The food and drinks festival which breaks frontiers as the biggest food event in Africa is organised to promote Small Scale Businesses across the Nations,it is scheduled to holds at Gtcenter, Plot 1 Water Corporation Drive, Oniru, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The event which spans three days starts by 10am in the morning and closes 6pm daily promises to be explosive with fun and learnings.

The organisers releases the annual food show schedules to the pressmen yesterday at the press briefing organised to herald the festival held at the Bank’s head office in Victoria Island, Lagos.
 
As financial service providers with focus for business expansion and innovative operations, the organisers explained for easier accomodation of vendors with varieties of continental dishes and menus, numbers of its free vendor stands have been increased from 130 to 208 for the 2023 edition.

Food lovers across Africa and the world are, therefore, expected to join this year’s edition of the food feast, which is part of GTCO’s annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to boost small-scale businesses.

“According to the Head of Media Relations, GTCO, Charles Eremi, our vision is to lead the financial institution in Africa, that is why this annual event is free for our vendors, by doing this, we are contributing to the growth of our communities.

“There will be a Master Class session which will feature renowned chefs across the world that will bring their experience in the international food business.”

Reacting to questions on the mode of selecting participating vendors, he noted, “We sent out our notifications months ago through all digital platforms and print for any interested vendors to apply across the country.

“About 3000 applicants apply for this year’s edition and through  meticulous and quality standard status we sets through screening two hundred and eighty were picked, accross the nation”, he explained.

“He, therefore, assured food lovers, who will grace the occasion tomorrow that their safety is GTCO’s priority, adding that this year’s edition is a celebration of everything food”.
