The Managing Director, National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), Dr George Moghalu, said by voting Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as president, Nigerians has chosen a steadfast democrat and statesman that is capable to provide visionary leadership, innovative ideas.

 

In a press statement to congratulate the President-elect personally signed by the NIWA boss and a copy made available to newsmen, he said electing Asiwaju to pilot the affairs of the country at this critical juncture in the nation’s history when visionary leadership, Innovative ideas and principled compromise are required to overcome the challenges we face and rise to the highest heights of which he’s capable.

 

The NIWA boss said, “I write to congratulate you on your election as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on the platform of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC). Your election is victory for the democratic ideals, and it marks a significant milestone in our journey towards a democracy that works In the best interests of all Nigerians.

 

“It Is fitting that the Nigerian people have chosen you, a steadfast democrat and statesman to pilot the affairs of our nation at this critical juncture in our history when visionary leadership, Innovative ideas and principled compromise are required to overcome the challenges we face and rise to the highest heights of which we are capable.”

 

“I am confident of your capacity to lead this nation through this historical moment, fraught with promise and peril. And I look forward to the grand achievements that will define this epoch. Accept my congratulations, Your Excellency and rest assured of my support now and always,” Moghalu said.
