TRACE Boss Call For Free Flow Of Traffic, As APC Supporters Undertake Appreciation Rally To Electorates

The Corps Commander and Chief Executive Officer of Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency (TRACE) Cdr Abdulfatai Olaseni Ogunyemi, yesterday, February 28, ordered Ogun West Area Command to ensure all the roads leading to Ota, the ancient city of Aworiland are safe for the users as the indigenes embarked on streets walk to appreciate the electorates for voted massively for All Progressives Candidates (APC).

The Road Traffic Management Mayor, ordered the agency’s personnel to ensure no gridlocks and obstructions that could hindered the free flow of traffic during and even after the appreciation rally.

Following the directives, Ogun West Area Commander, Cdr Adekunle Ajibade positioned the operatives in all strategical roads for traffic monitoring and proper control of both human and vehicular movements as some roads to Ado-Odo-Ota Local Government Area Secretariat were blocked and traffic diverted.

The road traffic mayor also ordered the area, corridor and divisional commanders to ensure nothing hindered the free-flow of traffic within the state as governorship and house of representatives elections is fast approaching.

It was no longer a news that Ota indigenes came out and voted massively for the APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Senator Olamilekan Yayi for Ogun West and other candidates at the just concluded election.

In the same vein, the TRACE Corps Commander, also commiserate with the Chief Imam of Sango Central Mosque, Alhaji Tajudeen Shaff on the death of his undergraduate son, Abdulsheriff Hameed Shaff, that Knocked down with two others by hit-and-run truck driver in Ijako area, along Lagos-Abeokuta expressway.

Untill his death of Abdulsheriff, was a medical student in Bowen, one of the Nigeria universal private universities, owned by Baptist Christian Nigerian and it located at Iwo in Osun State.

The commiseration visit was led by Cdr Ajibade. Others on visit were Area 4 Corridor Commander, Cdr Tayo Rinaye; Ota Divisional Commander, Cdr Victoria Olaoke, her counterparts – Ijako, Cdr Temitope Oseni; Ifo, Oyebola Michael and Cdr Salau Ahmed.

TRACE, being passionate of safety for all while on the road has been on ground since the mid-night controlling traffic to ensure maximum sanity in Oke Isa in Oke Odan, along Ota-Idiroko road while waiting for the empty truck that will transload the goods of a fallen truck before it finally evacuation out of the ever busy expressway.
