The immediate past member,Lagos state assembly representing Ifako/Ijaye constituency, Honorable Dayo Saka Fafunmi has reacted to the trending online polls conducted by Bloomsberg.
The result indicator on Labour party's candidate, Peter Gregory Obi, the former governor of Anambra state hedging up the poll with over 70 percentage, Bola Ahmed polling 18 percentage while Atiku Abubakar gathering 10 percentage respectively
An outcome Honorable Fafunmi described as 'alien' to Nigerian political culture. "Nigerian political structure does not rely on internet polls,the intent is to create impressions that one candidate is more popular than others,meanwhile this never translate to reality in elections in Nigeria", he Said.
Hon Saka Added with experience many qualified electorates including myself and other political enlightened citizens not even part of such conducts on the internet.
He declares no other candidate among the contestants has the pedigree and had contributed more than what my Principal, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has done to the general well-being of Nigerian people. The February 25th election would validate the emergence of Bola Ahmed Tinubu as President of Federal Republic of Nigeria. He is the only man who understands common man's challenges and can profer solutions to them among the contestants.
Alhaji Atiku don't have political testimonials of Asiwaju which Has never lost his touch of governance since left office as governor of Lagos state,he had significantly played roles of guidance and progressive promotions of good governance of same state till date.
All developmental projects and movements seen today in Lagos were all master-plan of his visionary leadership he developed many year ago. He had turned Lagos state flood challenges to opportunities thriving the economies of the centre of excellence hitherto.
He bemoans fake popularity some attributed to the people Democratic party candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as someone without guarantor, he described his Corruption attributes as what his former boss reveals as too corrupt. His Boss, Olusegun Obasanjo till date has never forgive him for his crimes commited while in office. Much of reasons he had never submitted his will and support for him to win elections since he's been clamouring for presidency.
I therefore made a candid appeal to All Nigerian especially Yoruba Clans to ganered unalloyed support for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu/Shettima presidential bid come February 25th for him to be install as President of Nigeria.
The former House of assembly member Cautions all to avoid what happened to previous political aspirations of Yoruba Politicians of : Obafemi Awolowo and Moshood Kashimawo Abiola (MKO) repeat it's ugly self. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu,the Jagaban of Borgu and frontliner among Giant makers in Nigerian political and economic space needs everyone's support to emerge Nigerian leader to provide deserved succour to common man's yearnings and place our country in commity of greatness.
