Popular Fuji House of Commotion actress, Sola Onayiga is dead.
The information gathered indicate that veteran Nollywood actress Sola Onayiga popularly known as “Kitchen Practical’” is dead.She played the role of Ireti in Kunle Bamtefa’s popular soap, Fuji House of Commotion.
According to reports Sola Onayiga died on Monday after a brief illness.
Her husband, Pastor Tosin Onayiga, confirmed the incident.
He said she died around 3:45am on Monday.Also, the news of her death was confirmed by founder of Best of Nollywood awards, Seun Oloketuyi.“I have just been informed that the accomplished Stage and Screen Actress and Fellow of Theatre Arts Auntie Sola Awojobi Onayiga has passed on,” he announced on his WhatsApp group Platform.“Auntie Sola who is best known for living delightfully the role of Ireti aka Cooking practicals in the defunct television sitcom ‘CHECKMATE’! Reportedly passed on this morning,” he added.The news of her death comes hours after the death of another popular actress, Ada Ameh, who died on Sunday night.
