HRM Oba Olabode Victor Taiwo Thomas Fagbayi,Onitigbo of Tigbo-Ilu,Ogun State addressing the invaded team and Community leaders
The traditional ruler overseeing Tigbo-Ilu and the territorial communities in Ado-Odo Ota local government,HRM Oba Olabode Victor Taiwo Thomas Fagbayi today 19th May 2022 made a clarion call to the executive governor of Ogun state,Prince Dapo Abiodun (MFR) to intervene in the alleged land disputes and apparent invasions by some land grabbers who poses around with unsolicited documents claiming they had court judgement verdict with certificate of occupancy from Ogun state bureau of land,with the alleged court documents which only indicate a court affidavit on the cases.
This call was made at the instances of some impostors according to Oba Tigbo-Ilu, are people from Ojusango town in Ifo local government area of Ogun state who parades themselves as custodians of three communities of Ijako,Isorosi and Ajibode under Ado-Odo Ota local government area, meanwhile their court documents stipulated names of places like Ifo,Pakoto towns which were communities along Abeokuta expressway under Ifo local government areas.
With these presentations,there are lots of ambiguous and discrepancies on coherency of documents presented at the invasion. 'I will never fold my hands for anyone or group(s) of people to keep trampling on my people's fundamental human right but will always ensure justice is served as law abiding citizen, though my trust is in Nigeria security agency to peacefully carry out their duties without any bias' Onitigbo stated.
The Ojusango Invaded team who were led by one Balogun came with hired thugs and many strange faces to Ajibode town with malicious intention of measuring and allocating surveyor instrument accompanied by two vehicles of security agencies comprises Nigerian Police and Ogun So-safe corps under the direction of State Commissioner of police with a letter of accompaniment in order to maintain law and order.
The traditional leaders of the concerned communities high Chief Rasidi Adejare Faluyi,High Chief Adesina Osadare and High Chief Jamiu Akinremi Ajana,Bale of Ajibode,Ijako and Isorosi respectively. The community leaders in reaction to the unsolicited invasions condemned the actions of the Ojusango's described them as people who takes pleasure in launching attack
on communities claiming they owns everyone's lands and territories.They also counsels the police rank and files to always scrutinise petitions and complaints brought before them.
As the invaders torments continues in their towns,the leaders of the three communities urge cooperation among community leaders and members in order to prevent strangers and land grabbers from their territories.
'Please let's stand strong in face of territorial challenges in this regards, the Isorosi traditional leader said'.
