While some people described it as a platform where unmarried but mature Christians of the RCCG stock could meet prospective partners in a decent setting, others saw it as a descent into immorality.

Abigail James said, “Prayers and reliance on the Holy Spirit still remains the only way! Apps will fail you woefully! But God never fails.”
John Unachukwu said, “If a sister or brother finds it difficult to see or find his/her partner in church, how could it be easier in online dating where everything is cosmetic and imaginary?”
Lawal Bolaji, however stated that “Having dating network is ok. All we need is to have the fear of God and be faithful.”Cape Farms said, “Dating site is good…not everyone is as scriptural or bold as you are…what works for you might not work for others…everything in life has advantages and the opposite…whether you marry through dating site or through the four corners of the church…the main point is God’s blessing…as long as the union is blessed…we are good…you can also ban people from watching TV.”
Owonifari Niyi said, “Are there no single sisters and brothers in your parish or jurisdiction of worship? You think dating site is the solution in this perilous time? Trouble cat dey sleep…yanga mouse wan wake am, (Meaning they are inciting trouble).”
Ufuoma Oruremu said, “People are commenting that it is wrong because it was introduced by a church right. Many dating sites are on the net; are there no Christians that are logging into them?“Are people not finding even God-fearing spouses from there? In fact, I think the idea is not bad, after all, they also organize some programmes in most churches if not all for singles to connect and mingle.”
Yemisi Adetoyi, a Guidance Counselor, who spoke with The Point in an exclusive interview, said that “On this matter, we should recall the counsel of the Holy Bible which says, ‘Let not then your good be evil spoken of…’ Romans 14, 16. This is instructive so that the good intentions of those who mooted the idea would not be mistaken for frivolity.“It is important to consider the fact that there is no church on earth where all the congregations are purely born again Christians; the case in the RCCG is clearly not an exception. If you agree with this point, it suggests that some of the users of the dating platform would try and take undue advantage of it.”
