OSHODI COMPREHENSIVE HIGH SCHOOL CLOCKS 40, ALUMNI CELEBRATES BIG

The alumni of Oshodi Comprehensive High School have rolled out plans to celebrate the 40th Founder's Day Anniversary celebration of the school. The Ruby Anniversary activities are  scheduled to hold from Thursday 16th to Saturday 18th December, 2021 by 10.00am prompt daily will take place in the school complex.

Speaking briefly with Trek Africa Newspaper, the President of the Alumni Association, Mr. Hamzat disclosed that the event will be a massive reunion for all past students of the school. 'This event is aimed at reuniting thousands of Alumni  across the globe. It would be streamlined online'.

'The association was formed to connect alumni with each other, seek for members' welfare, and give back to the school', he added.

In the same vein, the PRO of the OCHS Alumni Association, Ndidiamaka Nwebeke stated: 'The 3-day event is scheduled as follows:
Day 1: Lecture on Drug Abuse by Mrs Tosin Akinpelu, Health Talk on Prostrate/Cervical Cancer, followed by Medical/Dental Checks by a line up of seasoned medical practitioners of the association, and Inspection of the school projects.'

'The second day is tagged SPORTSMANIA featuring a novelty match and entertainment by cross sections of the old students.'

The final day activities will include Awards/Investiture, fund raising for her 3-in-One project of a Multipurpose Hall, an E-Library and Alumni Secretariat, and Get-together party.'

Special Guests of Honour expected at the event include The Tutor General/Permanent Secretary, Education District VI Mrs Oyebisi Oludara Okelola, The Executive Chairman, Oshodi/Isolo Local Government Otunba Kehinde Adeola Oloyede (KENDOO) and other notable dignitaries.
