It is no longer news that Bola Tinubu is returning to Nigeria on Sunday but ‘why is Tinubu coming to Nigeria on Sunday’ is what many Nigerians are asking at the moment.
Well, according to (CNN) sources, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is coming t Nigeria to hold some important meetings with different groups in Nigeria.
According to a source close to Aso Villa, the All Progressive Congress (APC) National Leader is billed to see Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari and some APC stalwarts for some important discussions that has to do with security in the South-West.
The source further hinted that the President has asked the Vice-President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo SAN to team up with Tinubu and ensure that the relative peace being enjoyed in the South/West is sustained.
CityNews Nigeria also learnt that Tinubu will only spend a few weeks in Nigeria after which he will return to England for further medical attention.
Recalls that Tinubu said he went through a challenging health crisis, saying his “physiotherapy was gruesome’’ while addressing members of the House of Representatives northern caucus who visited him in London last Friday.
Jagaban as he’s fondly called by his admirers has been in the United Kingdom for the last three months since undergoing knee surgery, but sources say arrangements are in top gear to welcome him back home on Sunday.
