WHY #FIXOTAROADS PROTESTERS REBIRTHS

 

 It's no longer news in Nigerian Leadership parlance for politicians to promise without make do of those promises until their tenures in office ends.

 

Many of those unfulfilled promises forms parts of reasons the residents and stakeholders in Sango-Ota axis who are the major feelers of bad road nature of the community in the commercial hub of Ogun state,which based on verifiable sources represents the cash crow sector of all the gateway State internal generated revenue spots hitherto.

 

Thanks to recent news that went viral as the Hon Minister of Works and housing,Mr Babatunde Fashola added beleivable tone that federal government is attending to the cries of people and agitations of daily untold or perhaps un-attended sufferness people experienced due to very deplorable road Network in Sango-Ota communities.

 

Recall that some groups of people during EndSars agitations late 2020 joined voices on same slogan of '#FixOtaroad' agitations until several meetings with government authorities permits agitators voices to wind down naturally, with nothing worthy of attention been done on the roads. 

 

Though several road palliatives had been done on spotted deplorable spots but Sango Ota road status truly deserved standard construction due to nature of vehicular movements around there as industrialised,commercial habitats activities are tremendous.

 

 

A group of protesters popularly known as #FixedOtaroads are currently embarking on a protest against bad roads at Sango Under Bridge. 

The protesters who display different placards with various messages of their protest also mounted a loud speaker on an open landrover vehicle, blaring their messages to who cares to listening. 

Though,the protesters are peaceful and not barricading the roads against movement. They had since been moving from one Angle of the Community to another to show forth their grievances on placards with presence of Security forces around them.

Majorly, attention of the authorities are expected to be drawn with this very protests to urgently attend to daily deplorable traffic situations that are products of years of neglects and already becoming unbearable to residents and road users alike.
