… multiple crash, fire incident, traffic diverted
The Ogun State Sector Command of Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) is appealing to motoring public to be patient, disciplined, avoid driving recklessly and have maximum cooperation with the traffic management and fire service on Lagos-Ibadan expressway as they are working to restore nomalcy back to the expressway.
Its Sector Commander, CC Ahmed Umar, said traffic has been diverted on the expressway due to multiple crash that resulted to fire incident opposite Shotong.
He said number of burnt vehicles could not be ascertained for now but efforts on to put off the fire as the fire service officials are on ground and traffic has been diverted to adviod secondary crash.
“Motorists are advised to remain calm, discipline, and cooperate with traffic managers as efforts to restored nomalcy still ongoing.
“FRSC and others sister agencies are fully unground managing the situation” CC Umar added.
