DollarFXHype : CBN Identifies AbokiFX As Saboteur Of Nigeria’s Currency Value, Vows To Arrest Its Publisher

 

Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Dr. Godwin Emefiele has identified AbokiFX, an online website which publishes daily raises and falls of the Nigerian currency, Naira.

Emefiele on Friday during 2021 Monetary Policy Committee, MPC, meeting held in the country’s Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, said the publisher of AbokiFX is one of Nigeria’s enemies who is on the mission of sabotaging CBN efforts.

Emefiele who frowned on the unauthorized daily information on the raises and falls of Naira on AbokiFX website said the publisher will be apprehended and prosecuted.

According to the apex bank governor, CBN preliminary investigation showed that the publisher of AbokiFX is a citizen of Nigeria who operates from United Kingdom.

“We have initiated collaboration with security agencies in UK to ensure that the publisher of AbokiFX is arrested” he said.

He further explained that their are other faceless powerful Nigerians who are working with AbokiFX to ensure that Naira loses its value for their selfish interest and vowed that they will soon be caught and face the wrath of the law.

He, however, urged Nigerians to disregard AbokiFX daily publication on Naira saying CBN will not rest until enemies of Naira like him are apprehended.
