Ota-Awori Town Agog At Late Alhaja Soburat Akinboyede's 8th-Day Firdau Prayers



The Awori community on Tuesday 3rd August 2021, recieves massive guests and well wishers from all over the Nigerian states who thronged the Firdau Prayers programme for Late Alhaja Amori Soburat Akinboyede.

 The Ogun state deputy governor,Eng Mrs Noimot Salako Oyedele pays her last respect to the late Alhaja Akinboyede through a letter ably delivered at the event where she described the Family as one of the fore runners of Ota and a great loss to the Muslim community, prays for her soul to rest in Allah's bossom.

The mammoth crowd was a scene for road users to behold,many inquiring among commutters plying the ever busy Idiroko Road in Ota,probing to know exactly what become of the crowd opposite the popular Indomie Noodles Factory in Ota.

Emotional Eulogies from family and benefactors of 'Mama College' as she is fond called were already a sermon for all guests to take home.

Among dignitaries at the event were:
Awori kings, His Royal Majesty, Ajani Wadudu Deinde, Oloruba of Oruba Ota,HRM Abdulwasiu Ogungbayi, Onitetiku of Owode Ota, Hon.Oladele Adeniji,the Odota of Ota Kingdom,sons and daughters of the land whom the deceased had touched positively.

According to some of them 'We came to celebrate time and love the late disciplinarian teacher left and bestowed on humanity. In addition, Mrs Orekoya, emotionally narrates how late 'Mama College' nurtured her as a young teacher posted to her school,not known from 'Adam' counsel her spinterhood days and guided her marriage hitherto.

Too numerous to mention were the colourful and massive presence of the Ansar-Ud -Deen community from many parts of both Lagos and Ogun state,who mobilises members to pay last respect due to Late Alhaja Soburat's impacts and roles she had played in raising religious giants and faithfuls of Islamic tenents hitherto. 

Among lists of Scholars that grace the event were: Chief Missioner, Khalifa Alli Dauda,Imam Iskeel Adeniyi,Samsudeen Yekeen,Bashir Akinde,Yakub Jayeola, Ridwanulai Aleshinloye, Rasheed Oshinowo,Abdul Kabeer Adegunle and Imam Yusuf Olakotan.

Chief Imam Aworiland, Imam Saadiku Buhari, Mufasi Overall,Sakimalai Danni,Mufti Aworiland,Ibatulai Salako, Imam Oruba Sarafadeen,Imam  Kufayakun,Motif Olajire, Imam Taofeek Sanni,Imam Akeredolu,Imam Ojumo,Saheed Asalu,Alh Ganiu Asaoku,Imam Farookdeen Ajase, Imam Orelope  Alhaji Muraimo and Others.
