Through an invitation letter dated June 9, 2021, the meeting scheduled to hold on Thursday, at the Transcorp Hilton in Abuja, will be attended by Nigeria’s former President Olusegun Obasanjo; former Head of State, Abdulsalami Abubakar; Sultan Sa’ad Abubakar and former Catholic Archbishop of Abuja, John Onaiyekan.

The meeting will discuss national unity, security, peace, integration, economic revitalization, and development.

“I am pleased to invite you on behalf of Interfaith Initiatives for Peace jointly led by the Sultan of Sokoto, his Eminence Mohammad Sa’ad Abubakar and Emeritus John Cardinal Onaiyekan, National Peace Committee chaired by General Abdulsalami Abubakar and Socio-cultural Consultative Committee convened by me and all these bodies called Committee for Goodness of Nigeria, CGN, to an exploratory meeting on pressing issues of national unity, security, peace, integration, economic revitalization and development, women and youth welfare and general progress.”
