Former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has slammed ex-Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State for criticising President Muhammadu Buhari on his now deleted tweet by Twitter.
Fayose had on wednesday, June 2nd, 2021 condemned Buhari’s statement on twitter.
He wrote; “Nigeria is boiling everywhere and all that the President can do is to be threatening genocide up and down? Now that Twitter has dealt with our almighty President Buhari, won’t he “deal” with Twitter too? Like Trump, like Buhari.”
However, reacting to Fayose’s tweet, Femi Fani-Kayode wrote;
“When IPOB was killing police officer and burning down government infrastructures where are you sir, now that the president has made a comment to warn those doing all this nonsense, you called genocide! Alabosi niyin sir!!!!”
Interestingly, this is what President Buhari tweeted that set Twitter on fire…
“Many of those misbehaving today are too young to be aware of the destruction and loss of lives that occurred during the Nigerian Civil War. Those of us in the fields for 30 months, who went through the war, will treat them in the language they understand.”
