WE'LL NOT REVERSE OUR MINIMUM WAGE- ABIODUN

Governor Abiodun who made this known in Abeokuta during the Breaking of Fast (Iftar), with leaders of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the State, noted that his administration would continue to be creative in its bid to make the State more economically viable.

"We've being very creative with financing, today, I was watching on television where I saw one of my brother governors saying they might have to reverse the payment of minimum wage, Ogun State will not do that", he assured.

Abiodun who also affirmed that his administration would continue to promote gender participation in governance, particularly during the upcoming Local Government elections, charged that APC as a party in the State must show that it is a product of democracy.

The Governor also pledged that his administration would continue to make the State safe, calling on the people to be watchful, prayerful and be observant of their environment, as security agents are as good as the intelligence they gathered.

"It is important that we are all watchful and prayerful, particularly at this time, let us be very observant because security agencies are only as good as the intelligence they gather, and it is us that will provide them with that intelligence", he said.

Earlier in his remarks, the Caretaker Committee Chairman of the All Progressive Congress in the State, Chief Yemi Sanusi commended the Governor for embarking on massive road rehabilitation and reconstruction, alongside other remarkable strides.

Also, the trio of Chief Segun Adesegun, Senator Adegbenga Kaka and Prince Gboyega Nasiru Isiaka also lauded Prince Abiodun for his effort on making the State more attractive for investors, saying they would continue to support his administration.
