ILUPOKIKI, AGANRAN ROYAL HOUSE MAKE A CLARION CALL TO GOV SANWO-OLU TO FIX IJU-OGUNDIMU COMMUNITY VACANT STOOL


 

The family of Ilupokiki Omolomo,one of the gazetted ruling houses in Ifako-Ijaye Local government who is scheduled to be the next ruling house to present Obaship candidate to vacant stool of Iju-Ogundimu community under Ifako-Ijaye local government in Lagos state has made a Clarion call to the executive governor of Lagos State, Babajide Olushola Sanwo-Olu to in his wisdom use his good office to intervene in the delay and approval of presentation of their Candidate Prince Tajudeen Olanrewaju Sunmonu Adio Agbebi to the State Ministry of Local government and Chieftaincy Affairs.

It would be noted that the Said stool of the monarch is been declared vacant since 2018 after demise of Oba Elijah Olanire, the late King of the town.

After all required documents has been submitted to the Local government and Chieftaincy Affairs commission through the Department of Chieftaincy affairs in Ifako-Ijaye local government Area,nothing is been heard for past three years.

According to the gazetted document that indicate the three Ruling houses in the town namely ; Ogundimu, Ilupokiki and Aganran Royal houses. The late King Olanire was from Ogundimu Ruling house while Prince Tajudeen Olanrewaju Sunmonu is candidate presented by the Ilupokiki Omolomo ruling house which is submitted but has never been attended hitherto.

In some of Findings,it was revealed by facts from the Ministry of Chieftaincy Affairs that all documents related to the vacant stool and candidate application has not gotten to the State Chieftaincy ministry though the said requested applications and documents were submitted to the Ifako-Ijaye local government department of Chieftaincy affairs.

The concerned family of Ilupokiki Omolomo therefore cry out to the Good governor of Lagos State to investigate the delay of the said vacant stool in accordance to the rules and laws guiding Lagos State Chieftaincy installations.
