Do the Needful before we have Sunday Yewa, Sunday Ijebu and Sunday Egba on our hands, AA ogun state leader Dapo Adeyemi Cries out.
The Ogun state leader of action alliance Hon Dapo Adeyemi has cried out to the Ogun State Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun. Calling him to realise that his most primal function as a governor is the security of lives and property, the 73 year old septuagenarian who is a former Member of the Ogun state house of assembly stated this at his residence in Ifo local government area of the state.
The lack of security in the state is alarming with people now opting to have their own private police as those who have the financial means in the state are making requests to the Inspector General of police for policemen for private guard and patrol duty, with the killings of people in yewa land by suspected herdsmen and rouge security operatives, kidnapping and cult related activities in ijebu land, car snatching in egba land. See, all of these isn't well for the overall economy of the state and well being of our people, its no longer news that those who have the means are actively employing security but what about those of us who are not that finanically boyant, the Government in ogun state needs to sit up and address the issue of security before it becomes an issue that escalates totally out of proportion.
Gov Dapo Abiodun should do the needful before we have Sunday yewa, Sunday Ijebu and Sunday Egba, a situation where people start to take law into their own hands.
