Police Arrests 17 Over Sex Party, Recovered Clitoris From Suspected Ritualist

At least 17 youths arrested over sex party were among several suspected criminals paraded by the Bauchi Police yesterday in connection with various crimes in the state.

Speaking to newsmen, the command image maker, Mr Ahmed Wakili said based on a marching order to police chiefs in the State by the Commissioner of Police, Mr Tanko Lawan Jimeta to clamp down on criminal elements in the state 17 persons who has been terrorizing residents of the state were nabbed in Dass town.

Also pareded is a 19- years- old ritualist, Abdukadir Hakadu said to have multilated a minor genitial.

A clitoris and other virgina parts kept in a bottle were recovered from the suspect who was trailed to his hideout in Mararaba, Nasarawa State. 

Wakili told newsmen that based on intelligence reports that suspected criminal syndicates notorious for thuggery (Sara-Suka), Phone snatching, and indecent acts including sex parties, were terrorizing residents of the state, the Commissioner of Police CP Lawan Tanko Jimeta raised a team of detectives led by the Commander Rapid Respond Squad (RRS) who immediately embarked on a round the clock operation which resulted in the apprehension of the following suspects, Ishaya Adamu Mohammed Abdullahi Lawwali , Ayuba Adamu 19yrs, Aminu Tago, Mubarak Baba, Anas Sulaiman alias (Danarna) , Yusuf Ahmed, and Abba Abdullahi, Others are, Sulaiman Umar, Abdulrashid Ali, Aliyu Iliya , Idris Sulaiman , Nuru Sarki, Ibrahim Musa , Musa Danasabe , Abdulrashid Anas, Salmanu Ibrahim and Kasimu Haladu all of Dass town.

Wakili revealed that on same day of their arrest at about 2000hrs, they had conspired among themselves and organized a party suspected to be sex party with attendant series of atrocities within Dass town. The suspects will be profiled and charged to court.

Exhibits recovered from the suspects according to the spokesman are,a ranki, tsitaka, machete, Cutlass, three knives.

Speaking further the spokesman said on the 11th January, 2021, at about 1200hrs, a joint team operation led by the DPO Darazo, arrested one Sadiq Isah alias Gojirgo, 25yrs of age from Darazo LGA, following multiple complaints by the community against his conduct. Over the months, Sadiq is suspected to have criminally conspired with others now at large in attacking and terrorising the citizens of Darazo.

Among their operations was a coordinated attack on 24th of July, 2020 at about 0800hrs on the BSADP Darazo office where they killed one Babayo Hussaini 47yrs and one Chidawa Gyan-Gyan 48yrs both of Darazo L.G.A. Upon interrogation, the suspect voluntarily confessed to have committed the aforementioned offences.

He disclosed that attempt by the police to arrest the suspect, there was a serious scuffle between the suspect and the police.

“The following exhibits were found in his possession;

a locally made AK-49 riffle,Five knives, a set of shin guard,One face mask and three handsets.

Paraded also was the suspected ritualist, Haladu with the exhibits recovered from him.
