"I don't know if am on Earth or in Heaven,I am tired of living" - Late musician Orlando's mother

Christiana Owomoyela, mother of late singer Orlando Owoh – real name Stephen Oladipupo Olaore Owomoyela – has declared that she is tired of this world.

110 years old Madam Omowoyela made the disclosure during the 12th-anniversary celebration of the late music giant on November 4, 2020.

The 110yr old grandmother disclosed that she doesn’t know whether she is still on earth or in heaven.

She spoke in a chat with BBC Yoruba that signposted the anniversary of her son’s death.

The mother of the legendary singer in an emotional interview with BCC Yoruba monitored by societynow.ng revealed that she doesn’t remember most things again.

“I don’t know whether I am alive or in heaven, I don’t know where I am. I am tired of this world, I am tired of living. Pray for me, that God gives me a good death. That I don’t die a wretched death, that God cares for the remaining children, my sister, and my elder sibling’s children who have been taking care of me. That I die peacefully in their hands, so I can go. I am tired of this world.”The 110 years old said in yoruba.

Until his death on November 4, 2008, Orlando Owo was a master Highlife musician whose fame transcends different parts of the country and spilled abroad.

He is particularly popular for the album that narrates his incarceration at the Alagbon titled – “E Get As E Be”.
