Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has stated that his government would intensify efforts at making the State more inviting to investors, through good road network across the three Senatorial Districts.
Governor Abiodun who was represented by his Special Adviser on Works and Infrastructure, Engr. Akeem Adesina said this while featuring on a Radio programme, "Citizen Forum", describing government’s infrastructural development as a catalyst for economic growth.
The
Governor explained that the present government was concerned about
executing projects that were of economic importance to the residents of
the State, saying policy of his government informed why he mobilised
contractors back to some abandoned road projects across the State, such
as Rounda-Lafenwa road, Kuto flyover, among others.
He
said his determination to make the State attractive remained
unwavering, adding that this prompted the ongoing road projects at
Epe-Ijebu- Ode dualisation road, Sagamu-Siun-Abeokuta road, Elite road,
Abeokuta, Obantoko road, AIT-Navy road, Sango, among others.
The
Governor urged the people to be patient with his government,
maintaining that every nooks and crannies of the State would enjoy
dividends of democracy particularly in the provision of infrastructural
facilities.
