HONESTY REMAINS BEDROCK OF PURE ADVOCACY -Prof. Semiu Olatunbosun



Truth and honesty is addressed to be the bedrock of pure advocacy and defending the voiceless in the society. 
This lecture is at instance of  the annual Elders and Leaders training of EMOHR Human rights foundation held at one of their district offices at Ota Ogun state today Saturday 31st October 2020.

The facilitator,Prof. Semiu Olatunbosun stated while it should be noted that establishing and joining human Right wherever is not for money making but rather for public advocacy which usually is freely serviced.

Among several cogient points raised are the facts that every member are task to ensure showing responsibly toward every assignment given. When this is done without doubt sustainability of any organisation is assured. 

Prof. Olatunbosun in the lecture addresses all members and Elders to be focus on keeping promises vowed to any clients which approaches for help,hence they look up to you as last resort for problem solving.

Mutual respect and  displaying  shareholder's value to each other and clients was taught as another key to promote members adherence to duties especially in organisation like Human rights. As organisation which poised to render help in salvaging societal vices anyone engaged himself in it should ensure he/she portrays good constant public image hence you are watched at all time.

Mrs.Oguntola, a retired president of customary court versed with wealth of experience in dealing with public advocacy in her remark as one of  the stakeholders at the event added voice to the training workshop that there is need for every leader to always show dedication and honesty towards clients always hence you do such as your piece of sacrifice to the public domain.
Mr Olushola E.K. Michael the founder and National coordinator of the NGO further encourage attendees to be humble in discharging duties and to avoid habits capable of tarnishing Image of the organisation,individual units and members respectively.
